Founded as a spin-off of RWTH Aachen University in 2017, we combine industry knowledge and technology competence with expertise in the development of digital strategies - including Smart Services.

We integrate enterprise customers into our unique ecosystem to realise customised end-to-end transformations for companies.

The multidimensional acatech "Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index" serves as a methodological guideline for this. The Industrie 4.0 Maturity Center bundles the follow-up activities of the acatech study as an open platform.

Advanced Systems Engineering has the potential to provide a methodological basis for an urgently needed holistic product development methodology in the age of digitalisation.

The research focus of the department is divided into the two areas of Strategic Planning and Innovation Management and Systems Engineering.
