V. at RWTH Aachen University, Fraunhofer Institut für Entwurfstechnik Mechatronik IEM, Heinz Nixdorf Institut and i4.0MC – Industrie 4.0 Maturity Center GmbH operates a website with general information on the acatech Maturity Hub Smart Services developed by the consortium as well as a Quick Assessment. The SMART consortium attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and observes the legal data protection regulations. In the following, we explain how we handle your personal data.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Nature and purpose of processing:

By providing e-mail addresses, we would like to make it easier for you to contact us. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request a quotation, the data sent by e-mail will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art 6 (1) lit b DSGVO).

Recipients of the data are only the members of the SMART Consortium and, if applicable, order processors.

Storage period:

Data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the request has been processed.

If there is a contractual relationship, we are subject to the statutory retention periods according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) and delete your data after these periods have expired.

Provision mandatory or required:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with your name, e-mail address and the reason for the request.

 

acatech Maturity Quick Assessment Smart Services

Nature and purpose of processing:

The data you enter will be stored for the purpose of evaluation for anonymised bench marking. You explicitly agree to this at the start of the Quick Assessment. In order to receive your personalised evaluation, you must provide a valid e-mail address and your name. This is used for the allocation of the evaluation and the subsequent personalisation of the same.

Legal basis:

The data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. fa DSGVO). By providing e-mail addresses, we would like to enable you to contact us in an uncomplicated manner and offer you a free service with benchmarking. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. If you contact us to request a quote, the data entered in the contact form will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

Storage period:

Data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the enquiry has been processed. If a contractual relationship arises, we are subject to the statutory retention periods according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) and delete your data after these periods have expired.

Provision mandatory or required:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process the Quick Assessment if you give us your consent to process the data. We can only process your personalised assessment if you provide your name and email address.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for newsletter dispatch at any time with effect for the future. Unsubscription can be requested via the link contained in every e-mail or from the data protection officer or person responsible for data protection listed below.
